What this page is for
Questions about the review itself: something that is unclear, a claim you have seen and want to know how it is graded, a source you think should be reflected, or a correction you would like to suggest. These are welcome, and corrections are made to the page rather than noted elsewhere.
What this site does not do
This review does not recommend for or against any treatment, and it does not offer an assessment or a consultation in relation to anything it describes. It is not a booking page. There is no service offered here for any topical, device or surgical treatment, and nothing on this site should be read as an invitation to arrange one.
Questions about your own skin
A question about your own situation — whether a measure is appropriate for your skin, what a change in texture or tone means, whether anything is needed at all — is a clinical question and belongs with a clinician who can examine you and see your history. The hospital’s outpatient channels are the right route for that, and the appointments page explains how they work.
If something is not settling after treatment
A mole or lesion that is changing in size, shape or colour; blistering, peeling or a lasting pigment change after a device treatment; or irritation from a topical that does not settle when the product is paused should all be assessed by a clinician rather than managed at home. Contact the service that performed the treatment, or attend the hospital, and say what was used and when.
